Ella is just like her sis!  Climbing up on everything!  This is the second time I caught her climbing on the fireplace so I had to snap a picture.  She turned 11 months this week and is almost walking on her own. She takes about 3-4 steps between Bryan and I and then just falls into our laps/arms laughing! 

She's a Duckling!

Lily is officially a Hackmann Preschool Duckling! Friday was her first day of preschool and she did GREAT!  Better then we could have expected.  Bryan brought her in and we stayed with her for the first 45 minutes or so. When it was time for us to go she gave us each a kiss, while she was playing playdoh, and said good-bye. Not even a moments of hesitation.  I, of course, had scouts checking her out all morning to see if she was OK.  I will be working both mornings she is there in the same building so it will be so much fun watching her in her classroom.  Our therapy room even opens up to the playground! I did good that day too!  It was the night before when I was ironing her dress that I lost it!  Can't wait to see what she learns this year!

Last installment!

We spent the actual 4th of July with our fav peeps the Vests at the O'Fallon Freedom Fest.  Toad the Wet Sprocket was playing so we braved the heat and listened to some tunes!  Lily and Lina wanted to ride some rides, we got one in when the big black clouds rolled up and we ran to the car in a downpour!  Once we got home we had some pizza and shot off our own little firework display. Lily was really into boom booms this year.  She is still asking to go and see them.  She went down to Main Street St. Charles both Saturday and Sunday night with her Dad to see them while Mommy stayed home with sleeping Ella.

The 4th part 2

Each year my Mom has a 3rd of July BBQ with all her neighbors and some family too.  It was HOT on Saturday, but the kids stayed cool in the big water slide! 

4th of July Weekend part 1

As with any holiday I have to make multiple posts to cover all the fun we had.  This past weekend is no exception!  We started out this weekend by leaving early on Friday and heading to the Schuette's cabin. It's about an hour away from here and it's just a little bit of heaven!  There is a beautiful little creek, horses and TONS of peace and quiet.  Well besides the 3 crazy kids running around!  We left Ella at home with Grandma Reyn (she slept through the night for her of course!).  Lily had a blast (her dog did too).  She rode the rapids of the creek on a tube, rode her first horse and four-wheeler! She had lots of fun playing with Ava and AJ as well. Thank you Schuette's for a great start to our holiday weekend.

Tap class

Lily is having so much fun in her tap tap class.  We weren't sure how she would do since the first class she wouldn't let me leave her side, but this week she did AWESOME!  She walked right in there, stood on her blue dot and did everything Miss Emma told her to.  It was adorable and sweet!  One of those things I have waited for the minute the Dr. said "It's a girl!"

Ella is 10 months old!

I feel terrible that I haven't updated on Miss Ella turning 10 months old.  It has been a little crazy around here.
Here is her latest. She is now 19 pounds 8 ounces and 28 inches long (both in the 50%).  She is now eating pretty much everything we are.  She is so over the food I have been making her.  This makes me so sad, as I kinda had a little addiction making all that food.  Her favorite stuff to eat right now is any fruit, especially watermelon, cheese, avocados and pizza. She now has 3 teeth with one more getting ready to poke out.  She is loving the pool! Her favorite is to sit by the small fountains and play there all day.  She is such a snuggler and love bug.  She lays her head on your chest or tummy and will just lay there while you rub her back.  She is starting to stand on her own and take a step or two and cruises around all the furniture.  The poor girl falls a hundred times a day trying to pull up and climb on things she shouldn't.  She has a TEMPER and when she can't get to something she wants, boy is there a fit.  She throws her head back, kicks, and screams!!!
Her favorite 2 things right now are her sister and her doggy.  We sware she says Lily, Ella, dog, and hello. She picks up almost any object, puts it to her ear and says "hello".
She is so much fun right now. We are starting to plan her first birthday party!! Can't wait!
