Christmas Eve

Wow-what a wonderful Christmas here at the Sitarski household. We had two sweet girls to celebrate the birth of Jesus. All during church on Christmas Eve, Lily kept asking "where's Jesus?" It is so important for our kids to know the really meaning of Christmas, but is also a challenge to explain to a 2 year old. She was really into Santa this year so we try to have a good balance. We were also blessed to have John and Kim in town from Germany for 10 days to celebrate with us. The girls got some quality time with their aunt and uncle that live so far away. We were so sad to see them go. Christmas morning was a blast. Lily loved opening gifts for herself and everyone. She was a little overwhelmed at times but had a great time. She loves her new pink Jeep and had taken rides throughout the house since it's freezing outside right now. Bryan and I decided not to buy gifts for each other this year and instead treat ourselves to a trip to Florida in March to visit his Dad. We can't wait!!! We are so excited to see Lily and Ella playing in the sand.Sitting in this family room watching my family be together on such a wonderful holiday just makes my heart soar and fills me with so much gratitude for the blessings I have received this year. We just can't wait to see what 2010 hold for us. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
