We are SOOO Excited and ready around here for Christmas. Each Christmas with these beautiful girls just gets better. They have the fever and we are having so much fun with each holiday tradition and making new ones!! Off to see Santa tomorrow!
Lily and Mommy traveled to Washington DC last weekend for my Dad's oldest brother's internment into Arlington. My Uncle Cliff was a colonel in the Army and served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam! Saturday and Sunday we did lots of sight-seeing! Monday was the funeral. It was AMAZING and such and honor to be a part of.
We celebrated Lily's 3rd birthday party at Babymoon Boutique and had a Jungle Themed party. The kids sang songs, rode in a boat, beat on a drum, played with balloons and made music. They also made picture frames. Lily had so much fun, even if her face didn't show it all the time.
One of our favorite cycle break activities was apple picking at Eckerts in Milstadt. The weather was gorgeous and the girls had a blast picking the yummy apples.
The sitter was sick today so Mommy was home and we decided to make it a big first for Lily! She had her first hair cut! Her hair has grown soooo much this year and the ends were getting a little thin so we decided to try the Hairy Elephant for her first hair cut. She loved it. She got to sit in a fighter jet and watch Dora while being pampered! I loved the braids they put in, they will be perfect for her first dance class tonight.
Last Friday Lily's preschool had Water Days AND her Daddy spent the day with her volunteering in the room. She had so much fun having her Daddy there and he had fun with 16 3 year olds! The Water Days was a hit. Lily's favorite things were painting on the easel with water colors and running in the sprinkler.
